Thank you for shopping at Coyote Bay Leather. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If something isn’t right, here’s how we handle returns and refunds.
Return Window
You have 7 days from the date of delivery to request a return.
Eligibility
To qualify for a return, the item must be:
- Unused, uncut, and unaltered
- In its original packaging
- Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
Non-Returnable Items
- Items that have been used, cut, installed, or altered in any way
- Leather hides (cut-to-order; final sale unless defective)
- Items missing original packaging or tags
- Gift certificates
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage and your order number. We will ship a replacement or issue a full refund at our discretion — no return shipment required for verified defects.
How to Start a Return
- Email vic@coyotebayleather.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and reason for return.
- We will confirm eligibility and provide a return shipping address.
- Ship the item back at your expense using a trackable shipping method. We are not responsible for items lost in return transit.
Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Approved returns: Refund issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
- Denied returns: If the item does not meet our return conditions, we will notify you and ship it back to you at your expense.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable. Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility unless the item was defective or we made a fulfillment error.
Order Cancellations
If you need to cancel, contact us as soon as possible. Orders that have not yet shipped can be cancelled at no charge. Once an order has shipped, standard return policy applies.
